Company History
PacificEast started in 1982 as a true research company. Back then there really wasn't a "data industry".
PacificEast began by researching phone numbers for calling campaigns by sending staff out to phone booths and
making directory assistance calls. In 1982 this was really the only way to find directory assistance information
and making directory assistance calls from a public phone booth was free.
A lot has changed in the past 28 years. We now access not only directory assistance data but many other contact
repositories and data services and we do so electronically for both the US and Canada. As our product line and
number of customers has grown, we have challenged our team to develop processes and match logic that have cut the
turnaround time dramatically while simultaneously boosting match rates and accuracy.
