XML / Real-time
Many companies like to send us a file to clean and return or even look up information on-line a record
at a time. However, if you'd like to give your internal computer systems the high-speed access to the
best contact and reference data available you may want to use PacificEast's real-time solutions. These
machine-to-machine capabilities allow your computer systems to access PacificEast's solutions directly

Web Services
To paraphrase the Bard: A web service by any other name would smell like a real-time transaction. Web services are
just a type of real-time transactions so why list them separately? The simplest answer is that some of our customers
and prospects think of and refer to these machine-to-machine transactions as XML or real-time and others refer to
them as web services. A Web Service is a bit newer term for accessing a computer service over the internet. We also
like the term Data-as-a-Service, or DaaS. But no matter what you call these services they're really just a way of
allowing two separate computer systems to have a conversation. Specifically, our web services allow your computer
system to pass a question to us and to understand the answer we send back. It's really that simple: you ask;
we answer.

File / Batch
Ever since the days of punch cards data processing systems have been processing groups of records in what came to be
called "batches". Over the years the term "batch file" came to refer to a file containing multiple records which all
needed the same form of processing. PacificEast supports this file-at-a-time data processing methodology in which our
customers send us a file on which they want some cleaning, hole-filling or other data service performed. For simplicity,
PacificEast (not to mention everyone else we know of) just calls this "batch". PacificEast can process just about any
file format or type you can imagine.

GUI / Interactive
If you have a need for only occasional use of one of our data solutions or if you have an application
like fraud prevention research for which there is no substitute for human interaction then you may want
to consider one of PacificEast's Interactive Solutions. PacificEast offers a web-based human interface
version for all of our real-time solutions and products. Additionally, if you'd like to integrate one
of our solutions into your corporate website for easier use within your company or for a consistent
