DNC Scrubbing
We offer a batch-based DNC scrubbing service that gives telemarketers and users of telemarketing services the ability to "scrub" their call lists
against the available Federal, State and DMA Do-Not-Call Registry files.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) amended the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) to give consumers a choice about whether they want to receive most
telemarketing calls and as of October 1, 2003, it is illegal for most telemarketers or sellers to call a number listed on the National Do Not Call Registry.
The National Do Not Call Registry applies to any plan, program, or campaign to sell goods or services through interstate phone calls and includes
telemarketers who solicit consumers, often on behalf of third party sellers. It also includes sellers who provide, offer to provide, or arrange
to provide goods or services to consumers in exchange for payment.
DNC Scrubbing can be used as a stand-alone service or in combination with any of PacificEast's other phone number services. It includes complete audit
trails, record keeping and reporting for compliance verification purposes.
