Do Not Call List Scrubbing
We offer a batch-based DNC list scrubbing service that gives telemarketers and users of telemarketing services the ability to "scrub" their call lists
against the available Federal, State and DMA Do-Not-Call Registry files.
The Do-Not-Call Implementation Act of 2003 was signed into law in 2003 and effectively establishes the FCC's National Do Not Call Registry in order
to facilitate compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.
The Do Not Call registry provides U.S. consumers with the opportunity to limit the telemarketing calls they receive. Starting October 1, 2003,
when the National Do Not Call Registry was first enforced, most telemarketers were required to remove the telephone numbers on the registry from
their call lists (using Do Not Call List Scrubbing or Cleaning services). Telemarketers covered by the National Do Not Call Registry have up to 31
days (starting January 1, 2005) from the date one registers to cease calling a consumer. Most telemarketers cannot call one's residential telephone
number if it is in the National Do Not Call Registry. One may register their home and mobile phone numbers for free and registration will be effective for
five years.
Do Not Call List Scrubbing can be used as a stand-alone service or in combination with any of PacificEast's other phone number services.
It includes complete audit trails, record keeping and reporting for compliance verification purposes.
