Our Key Takeaways from HIMSS 2024

Our Key Takeaways from HIMSS 2024

With an emphasis on driving digital transformation, enhancing patient care, and addressing the evolving challenges within the healthcare ecosystem, HIMSS 2024 has provided invaluable insights and inspiration that will undoubtedly resonate throughout the industry.

As we reflect on our time at the HIMSS 2024 conference, we are excited to share our key takeaways from this premier event. Discover what highlights and revelations our sales team noted from their time at HIMSS 2024:

Lindy Neustaedter, National Account Manager:

“Health Innovation, AI, workforce development & Best practices were at the forefront of everyone’s list of topics to explore at HIMSS24.

The Top comment PacificEast encountered at our Booth, was “I need that!” Having calls delivered, and engaging with patients, members, or staff, is getting more & more challenging for all of the organizations we had the privilege to chat with.

You can have all the latest technologies to streamline your operations. Still, if your team cannot get calls delivered or is struggling with incorrect contact data, you will not be providing better patient or member engagement. Your staff will continue to feel overburdened and efficiencies will be stalled that are needed to move your organization forward.

It was astounding how many organizations expressed this as a huge pain point.  The “NEW” way of texting for appointment scheduling or follow-ups is not hitting the mark.  Patients are becoming more wary of Text scams.  Emails get lost in the crowd of junk to everyone’s inboxes, or unknowingly in the trash.

Branded calling has quickly risen to the top as the Gold Standard, offering trust, efficiencies & cost-effectiveness, bringing operational ease back to teams across large and small Healthcare organizations.”

Denver Fontaine, National Account Manager:

“The conference had many seminars and keynote sessions led by industry experts that allowed us to enhance our professional development and provided practical takeaways to interact with other exhibitors and attendees.

While at HIMSS we all had the incredible opportunity to meet and connect with peers, experts, and potential new clients. Having a booth allowed us to have many different types of interactions. From on the bus, sessions, booth, puppy park, Happy hour & my favorite lunch we connected with so many professionals to explore the idea of helping them with data services or branded calling.

Connecting with my team was also incredibly inspiring. Each has their own skill set that shines at the conference level.”

Andrew Watt, National Account Manager:

“The HIMMS conference was a great venue that allowed us to showcase our suite of products focused on enhancing the patient experience.

HIMMS allowed us to speak with other HIMMS attendees of all backgrounds. Whether it’s people from local markets, international destinations, large organizations, boutique firms, etc., it was great to learn about the many exhibitors at HIMMS and how we might align in a strategic partnership.

As a remote team, we don’t typically have a chance to be together in person very often, and the HIMMS conference allowed us to do that.”

Our team had a great time at the conference and is already looking forward to HIMSS 2025! If you want to learn more about PacificEast and the solutions we shared at HIMSS please reach out to us below!
